About Debbie and the tour
She has taught many workshops personally and for art groups throughout British Columbia.
She is compelled to paint light and the way it warms, reveals and touches the world around her. She is passionate about the whole painting process, from the challenge of design to the manipulation of paint.
Sharing my skills with others is so rewarding and brings me great joy! I want this to be a fun, positive experience for all who come! Beginner to advanced painters welcome.

She has been represented by a number of galleries in British Columbia Canada and holds her AFCA status with the Federation of Canadian Artists.
“Plein Air Painting is a truly magical experience! My goal when painting Plein Air is to translate the over abundance of info into a simplified and more impressionistic rendering. On this painting tour my goal is to help students zero in on strong composition / design while capturing the essence, light and beauty of the area. I encourage artists to paint what speaks to them wether it’s a grand vista or a more simple subject. Each student will receive positive instruction at whatever level they’re at.
