Gaye has been drawing and painting for as long as she can remember.  And it has always brought her a sense of satisfaction and joy.

In addition to painting she enjoys a lovely connection with those looking to shorten their learning curve by studying with her.  She always looks forward to sharing her passion, and loves to take students on her plein air adventures.

My passion is to search out subjects that speak directly to me, while working with all my senses on full speed to create, express and interpret landscapes, people and objects in a color-charged language.

 

My process always includes capturing the effects of light and motion, mood and emotion, which is why I prefer pastels for quickly getting to the essence of my subjects.

Our workshop centres on the freedom of plein air painting and sketching.
